By scheduling quarterly or monthly visits, we provide you and your neighbors with a dedicated handyperson who knows you and your home well, ensuring consistent, reliable, high-quality service every visit.

Through a long-term membership, we can learn the intricacies of your home and proactively care for it on an ongoing basis. Our goal is to provide homeowners with peace of mind, ensuring their home remains safe, functional, and joyful.

Q: So what do I get from my subscription?

We will collaborate with you to create a customized list of items tailored to your home. You can always modify this list as your needs and the seasons change. Here is a list of many of our standard care items. If you don't see what you're looking for, just ask.

Q: How many hours do I get?

Have you ever wondered why you’re paying an hourly rate for multiple trips to the hardware store? Or considered if an hourly model incentives workers to take longer to do your project? That’s why we bid outcomes and jobs, not hours. Our experienced professionals can handle multiple tasks - like minor electrical and plumbing jobs - along with standard handyman tasks around the house, all within your service window.

And, our pros can typically complete 95% of tasks themselves. If a job requires a specialist, we will connect you with the right trade partner and coordinate the process on your behalf. We pass the costs through to you with no additional fee.

Q: How long am I committed?

You can cancel your membership at any time without penalty. However, we kindly request a 3-month commitment to allow us the opportunity to meet your needs and offset our onboarding investment. For monthly memberships, you will simply not be renewed for the following month.

Additionally, enjoy peace of mind with our quality service guarantee: if you’re not completely satisfied within the first 30 days of your membership and we cannot resolve the issue, we will provide a full refund.

Q: What extra costs might I incur?

Projects outside of your customized service will be bid or priced individually. Seasonal packages or worked performed by one of our trade partners will be be approved and billed separately from your subscription.

Your handyman will arrive with basic parts for everyday tasks (e.g., nails, basic caulk). For larger parts or materials, you can either purchase them yourself or let us handle the research and purchase on your behalf. For items costing over $100, we will seek your approval before making the purchase.

For parts and materials requiring specific styles, designs, or specifications, we recommend you select them personally. We’re happy to offer advice as needed.

Q: Who performs my service?

Your individually assigned handyman and handywoman undergo a rigorous vetting process to ensure quality, service, and friendliness, including a hands-on assessment. We also offer regular training opportunities. Our handypeople have several years of industry experience, take pride in their work, and enjoy collaborating with homeowners.

Q: How often will you visit my home?

For our quarterly service members, we will schedule one visit every three months. Monthly service members will have a visit scheduled once every month. Additionally, we reserve extra hours each week for clients who need extra assistance or have tasks that require additional attention.

Q: How fast will you respond and how booked out are you?

One of the best aspects of being a member is gaining priority access to your handyman and our team of trade partners. We reserve time each week specifically for clients who have additional projects. While we do not offer emergency services, let us know what you need and we will assist you.

Q: What payment options do you offer?

We can accommodate your family's preference to budget for home care either monthly or quarterly. Payment for your first visit will be collected after completing the customized task list and a walkthrough with your handyman. Future billing will be set up on a recurring basis, either monthly or quarterly.

Q: If you can’t do the job, who can?

For larger jobs or those requiring a specialist, TRUhand can connect you with qualified trade partners and vendors. The cost of the specialty vendor will be billed directly to you. We are happy to manage the process, provide quotes, and, upon your approval, coordinate the vendor's visit. For these larger projects, we will inform you of any additional management fees before we begin.
